Choose an operating model

Start carefully. Scale with evidence.

The plan sets out two possible routes: a gradual dropshipping-led start for a new account, or a stock-based launch for a business ready to fund inventory. Both begin with agreed responsibilities, supplier checks, spending approvals and regular performance reviews.

Investment options

Two routes for different starting points.

These are proposed client investment budgets from the supplied eBay plan. They are not Noriva service-fee quotes; agree management fees and operating costs separately.

OPTION 02 · STOCK-LED

Launch with selected inventory

US$5,000
Proposed budget for the first two months

Research and purchase approved inventory, then manage listings and fulfilment while reviewing sales, costs and remaining stock.

  • Month 1: competitor and supplier research, cost calculations, quantities and listing preparation
  • Month 2: inventory and order management, customer enquiries, delivery and returns review
  • Further stock purchases or advertising require separate approval

Budgets are planning estimates, not fixed fees or guaranteed outcomes. Any management fees, marketplace costs, advertising, shipping, taxes, duties, storage and other expenses are identified separately and approved before funds are committed.

Option 01 · three-month phases

A measured route from launch to stock.

Moving to inventory is conditional on account standing, consistent demand, supplier lead times, actual margins and your available capital. It is not an automatic step.

MONTH 01

Set the foundation

Review account setup, research product categories and supplier reliability, then launch a small selected range.

MONTH 02

Build the routine

Monitor orders, tracking, dispatch, messages, cancellations, returns and feedback. Adjust listings and pricing.

MONTH 03

Review and decide

Review account health, sales, supplier performance, cash flow and product profitability. Prepare a separate stock and replenishment budget if appropriate.

Performance and reporting

Keep the operating picture clear.

We use regular reporting to support practical decisions on account health, products, fulfilment and costs.

Account healthSeller performance, policy compliance, late dispatch, cancellations, cases and buyer feedback.
Sales performanceOrders, revenue, conversion, listing views, sell-through and product results.
ProfitabilityProduct cost, fees, shipping, advertising, refunds, returns and net profit by product.
InventoryAvailable units, stock age, replenishment needs, supplier lead times and unsold stock.
Customer experienceDispatch accuracy, tracking, delivery, response times, returns and feedback.

The plan’s stock-led model includes a 40–45% target estimate. This is a planning target, not a guaranteed return; the parties should define in writing whether it means gross margin, net margin or the client’s share of net profit. Noriva’s typical average profit margin is 15–20%; actual results depend on products and costs.

Fulfilment standards matter. eBay’s policy allows fulfilment directly from a wholesale supplier, while buying from another retailer or marketplace after an eBay sale and having it ship to the buyer is not allowed. The seller remains responsible for delivery and the buyer’s experience. Read eBay’s dropshipping policy ↗

“I work full-time, so I wanted someone to run the shop day to day. The team finds products, creates the listings and fulfils the orders. I can check in after work and see exactly what sold.”
Selin Aras
“The first month was quiet. I appreciated that they told me which listings hadn’t worked and what they were going to try next. That gave me a reason to stick with it.”
Idris Mahmud
“A buyer wanted to return an item while I was away. By the time I checked my messages, the team had spoken to the buyer, arranged the return and recorded the cost on my account.”
Mirela Stan
“What won me over was the monthly breakdown. I could follow a sale from the price the buyer paid right through to my share after fees, supplier costs and postage.”
Tavish Gill
“We agreed on a spending limit before they started. When orders picked up, they checked with me before increasing it. I liked having that say without having to place every order myself.”
Rojin Demir
“I used to spend my evenings copying tracking numbers and answering ‘where’s my order?’ messages. Having the team take those jobs off my hands has been the biggest difference for me.”
Elian Costa
“I already had an eBay account but had no idea what to list. They talked me through their first few product choices, then took care of the listings, pricing and orders.”
Nadira Bashir
“One of our better-selling items went out of stock. They paused the listing, checked the supplier and let me know when it was available again. I appreciated hearing about it before it became a problem for a buyer.”
Caspar Voss
“I had a question about why my payout was lower than I’d expected. They showed me the two returns that affected it and where both appeared in the report. That was easy to follow.”
Anouk Ferreira
“For me, fully managed means I can leave the shop alone for a few days. Orders still go out, buyers get replies, and the team gets in touch when there’s a decision I need to make.”

Questions, answered

eBay management FAQs.

We’ll confirm the specific scope, budget and responsibilities before you commit.

What is the startup cost?

The proposal includes two possible client investment budgets: US$1,000 for the first three months on the gradual launch route, or US$5,000 for the first two months on the stock-led route. These are operating investment estimates, separate from any management fee and marketplace or fulfilment costs. We agree the written budget with you before onboarding.

Does the gradual model automatically move into stock?

No. After about three months, we review account standing, demand, supplier reliability, margins and cash flow. We only plan a stock transition if the results and your available budget support it, and agree a separate inventory budget first.

What does fully managed eBay support cover?

The agreed scope can include product and supplier research, listings, pricing, order and tracking coordination, buyer messages, returns support, inventory monitoring and performance reporting. Responsibilities are confirmed before work begins.

What profit margin should I expect?

Noriva’s typical average profit margin is 15–20%, depending on products and operating costs. The proposal also describes a 40–45% target estimate for its stock-led model. That target is not guaranteed and needs a written definition of the calculation before the work starts.

Who approves purchases and other expenses?

You do. Inventory purchases, replenishment, advertising and other additional expenses are discussed and approved before funds are committed.

How will I see account performance?

We agree a reporting schedule and show account health, sales activity, product costs, fees, shipping, advertising, returns, net profitability, inventory and customer service indicators.
